Why Grassroots Beard & Bath handmade soaps are better than brand names and how to extend their life.

One of the first questions I get when people find out I make handmade soap is “why are they any better than the brands I currently use?” That is a great question and the answers are fairly simple so lets take a second to talk about them.

Several key distinctions set us apart from the big brand names everyone is used to seeing on the shelves of their favorite grocery store counters. The number one reason is that we do not use hardening chemicals, lather enhancing chemicals or chemical detergents which can leave your skin dry and irritated. We use only natural olive, palm, and coconut oils, lye, essential oils and fragrances. Every one of Grassroots soaps are 100% vegan. However, because we don’t use extra hardening chemicals the bars can last a shorter time than the commercial brands, the good news is preserving the life of your favorite smelling bars is very easy.

So lets jump right in. There are two ways to extend the life of your Grassroots Beard & Bath soap. 1. When you’re not using your excellent smelling, all natural bar, place it out of the shower stream. 2. Once you’ve finished showering, place the bar on a dry surface to allow the bar to dry before its next use. This sounds silly, and we usually do this anyway, but doing these two things will help make your Grassroots Beard & Bath soap bars last much longer and we want our customers to happily enjoy and get the most use out of our products!
